my mission

For a long time, I was completely convinced I was just meant to be the "gentle giant" forever. I spent my entire youth stuck at 300 pounds, deeply insecure, and constantly looking for a way out. I’d lace up my shoes for pickup basketball or join the track team just to feel like I belonged, but inside, I felt like a fraud. I was always the slowest guy on the court—talking a big game to cover up the fact that I secretly doubted myself. Food was my comfort, and because nobody in my world knew anything about fitness, I had absolutely no blueprint for how to fix it. I felt completely stuck, like a failure who just couldn't show up for himself.

Like a lot of people, I fell hard into the trap of extreme fixes. I’d get hit with that sudden 3 a.m. motivation, wake up the next morning, and completely gas myself. I tried brutal sprint workouts, strict intermittent fasting, and cutting out every ounce of sugar all at once. But pushing to absolute failure without a long term plan just led me right back at square one. Everything shifted when I finally stopped looking for a magic pill and asked myself a simple question: "If not now, when?" I stopped trying to fix my whole life in 24 hours and started focusing on something much more powerful: building repeatable, sustainable days.

Six years later, I’m 100 pounds down and I’ve kept it off for good. I went from being the slowest guy on the basketball court to crossing the finish line of a full marathon. Today, I balance running, lifting, and hoops while eating fully intuitively, zero calorie tracking, zero food anxiety. I’ve built a peaceful, confident life, I'm engaged to an incredible partner, and nothing fires me up more than helping big guys like me, change their lives for good.
